Halloween

Halloween:::::::::

I really miss Oregon in the fall because you get to go to the pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin and carve it. But...Eric was nice enough to go to the pumpkin patch with his family and pick out a pumpkin for me too! I went online and picked out a sketch of a kitty on a moon for my pattern, and Eric carved it for me. This is a picture of my pumpkin (in the middle) in Eric's kitchen with his and his mom's pumkin on either side. Yae!

I have been trying to save my money, so I eat sandwiches twice a day with coffee of course! But, on Halloween day, I bought a pumpkin tart from the patisserie across the street. I took a picture of it. It was absolutely heavenly. Pumpkin and squash are my favorite tastes.

This halloween I studied. Here are some books that I was reading last week. That is basically all I did last week: read these books. Then I wrote a paper about it.

So, the Saturday after Halloween St. Thomas' College had a bop (that is what they call parties here I guess) for a good cause. So we all dressed up and danced like crazy. I was dressed up as Chrissy from Three's Company. All the guys had to dress up like girls. All of the guys were so courageous and had on wigs and lipstick. Oh it was so funny, they really went ALL OUT. The picture down below you can see a few guys as ballerinas, princesses, etc. etc. I guess the girls were supposed to dress up as boys, but we didn't get that memo.
